Ahuachapan.

Known as the geyser´s land. Is one of the cities that still maintain beautiful ancestral traditions such as “The Paper Lamps day”. In the middle of Ahuachapán, you find fumaroles or hot boiling geysers that is one of the most interesting geological phenomena of the volcanoes in Central America.
Here you can visit the geothermal plant that generates part of El Salvador´s energy.
